We went to dinner at PITA JUNGLE- Delicious! (except the disgusting babaganoush dip, which tasted like ash tray).
Then he got me tickets to this:
I know, totally a guy-type of gift, but I must admit, it was actually quite fun. The best part was the fights. One guy got knocked out and laid there for like 20 seconds. It kinda scared me....We also got to wear our own hockey outfits:

After the game, we went outside of the stadium and tried to take some pictures of ourselves, but some guy offered to take them for us instead. I get home and look at them and they look like this:

Thanks, man. We'd have been better off doing it ourselves.
He was just trying to be nice, so that we'd go to his bar and buy some drinks... Whatever.
On my real birthday, we went to friends house, had dinner, and cake, and then got done eating our cake, and learned that our other friend had made a cake for me too. EEEnough cake, thank you.
All in all it was a pretty good birthday! Now if I could just learn to read a pattern....

ReplyDeleteGraham bought me a sewing machine for my birthday two years ago. I started out with a rag quilt. Straight lines baby!! I want to learn how to sew clothes though!
And, I know someday we WILL get together to do dinner.. Crazy schedules sucks!

Just start out with something small and easy. You're crafty, I have no doubt you'll figure it out. Then you can make something cute that I can copy!!
