We got to go home for Christmas this year for a week of fun-filled madness. Even though we got to go for a week, it never feels long enough. As always, we ate way too much, slept in way too much, and probably spent way too much money, but it was totally worth it!
Besides the Christmas festivities, we also had time to do a few other things like:
Spend a lot of time by the fire. Since it was below 80 degrees there, it was "freezing" to us, hence most of the time, you could find us laying on the ground with a pillow in front of the fire place:
Do a quick 24-hour re-design and renovation of my mom's office, which me and Colonel both wish we had now (I think I should have majored in interior design. Not because I'm bragging that it looks overly-good, but more because it's fun to spend money and re-do everything. I could get used to that).
(We weren't all the way finished- the computer and actual "office" stuff is missing still, but this was the basis of it...)
Cuddle with my favorite Addy-licious again!
And here are some pictures from Christmas morning:
This is me saying "oooh... a blender," an item that has not gone un-used since Christmas day. We're obsessed with smoothies now.
Don't let that smile fool you. He couldn't wait to torture me with the smell of carcass on the car ride home. Eeeeew.
The added benefit of being "with child" at Christmas time- fifty extra bucks for baby. Sweet!
Of course, Docker had to be right in on the action.
If this is any indication of how exciting our Christmas was, this was Colonel's big "surprise" present. Yep, it's a toaster oven. I know you're jealous.
The present Colonel made for Dallas... he was quite proud of himself.
Us looking gorgeous.
Some gift card action to Cheesecake factory... yum.
Colonel opening up something in a golf ball box that wasn't actually golf balls. I don't even know what it was...
We got a few things for the baby... mostly gender neutral, cause we dunno what it is yet.
Here I am opening the first present Colonel gave me. It freaked me right out, because all I could see poking through the top of the bag was this orange-ish hair stuff. You can tell by my face I was scared and confused...
