Did I Mention it is HOT ?!?

So this is what we've been up to....

Organizing our house. Haven't got very far.... It's too HOT to go outside, so I just stay inside with all the blinds closed to keep the sun out, but I get sick of organizing. Oh well, I have three years, right?



The rest of the house is still a mess, so ya only get to see the living room right now. That green spot on the wall is a test paint spot...

We also went to the "Twlight Farmer's Market" that's held every wednesday night. It's just right across the street from us in a shopping complex. It was pretty fun- there were bands, and weird vegetables and stuff...


Here's a pic where I tried to do the whole hold your hand out and take your own picture thing.... I don't think it worked too well. Plus everyone was staring at us so we felt dumb.



Oh well. There was some cool stuff at the Farmer's Market, but the one thing that intrigued me and Kern most was BASIL LIME CUPCAKES. We almost tried one but they were THREE BUCKS each! I couldn't do it. So now Colonel is insisting that I magically make up some basil lime cupcake recipe so he can try them. Sounds weird to me...

And finally, did I mention it is HOT? It's monsoon season right now, (Monsoon? I thought those were the things that happened on tropical islands or whatever... I wish...) so it is HOT and HUMID. Bad combination...

And oh yeah- we've asked a lot of people to come visit... we haven't had any takers....??? Do we stink???
